Cool post!

I've used a few of these - especially NextGen Gallery, which is a large plugin, but has a lot of options, making it pretty configurable. We used it on dirtyfacelodge.com, if you'd like to see it in action.

I've seen the SexyBookmarks plugin too, but have used Sociable by Joost de Valk (now maintained by BlogPlay). I'm using it on my own blog as well as several other sites.
