I just got my first job on ODesk (http://www.odesk.com)...
Maybe someone would like to form a team with me so we can bid on bigger jobs? Alan |

Hi Alan,
I've never heard of ODesk - thanks for pointing it out. I've done some work through 99designs.com and have browsed some similar sites, but haven't really made use of them yet. I'm interested to hear about your experience with ODesk. Cheers, Eric |

Alan,
I know oDesk has been around for awhile and I think they're pretty legit. I had taken a look at it a little while back when Joyce mentioned them, but still haven't used the site yet. Curious as well to hear your experience. Best, Sean |

Alan,
I'm always willing to consider collaborating on projects. I think it's just a matter of finding a good balance of skills. It might be something for us to consider as a topic for a Meetup this year. Thoughts anyone? ~susan |

Hey guys
Thanks Eric, I'll look into 99designs, sounds interesting. Shaun I think I may be a bit too expensive, but I agreed to one job through ODesk so far. They seem to protect the worker really well - it can be a bit much actually, but you can be pretty sure you're not likely to be ripped off. Hey Susan, if you want to sign up with ODesk we can see what kind of jobs we can collaborate on. I'll put together a team. I want to focus on the design side of things and I really need to be handing work out, especially Joomla work. Alan |
