Hey Folks,
Happy New Year! Thanks to all of you who attended meetings in 2009. I think we've built up quite a group and have had some spectacular meetings. Also cookies. :)
New Meetups:While we don't yet have topics/speakers scheduled for these meetings, I'm sure we'll come up with some great stuff.
Now, onto my boneheaded mistake . . . I accidentally booked two dates at the Library in January. It's really not a problem as our speaker, Linda Shiraiwa, CPA, is coming to our scheduled meetup on Monday, January 18th.
But I also booked Tuesday, January 26th, which would normally be my preferred date. When booking new dates at the Library, I overlooked that I'd already booked January.
So, here's the question:Should we give up the January 26th date so others can use the library's meeting room, or are enough of you interested in having a second, non-accounting, Meetup in January?
I'm fine with just one, but would be willing to have another if y'all have a burning desire for more.
I've had a lot of questions from meetup members about WordPress, so we could talk a bit about that, or there are others who are just getting into CSS and HTML and could use a more basic intro.
So, if you'd do me a favor and cast your
vote in the poll, I'd appreciate it. I'll give it until early next week, tally the responses and make a decision.
Thanks!
Eric Amundson
