Sixteen dynamic web entrepreneurs attended the Jan 24 Gig Harbor Web Design Meetup Group.
We opened our 6th year of meetups with introductions and goals for 2012
A common goal theme expressed was to work less and make more money.
(aka: productivity)
It was an "Open Topic" night and time was well spent discussing:
  • Webpage content
  • Copy and copy writing
  • Customer engagement
  • Information extraction - getting good copy from the customer
  • Dealing with problem clients
  • Types of websites: E-brochure vs Lead Generation vs E-commerce
  • Use of rating and review systems for client websites
This meetup seemed to have an extra dynamism with business cards trading like kids with baseball cards.

"Available for Hire"
Available for Hire is on our meetup website discussion category (its hidden until logged in) where we should be posting our specialties and or business cards.
Be sure to login and post your specialty and any information that will help other meetup members find you. The whole IS greater than the sum of it's parts when it comes to networking.   That's it for this last meetup.  Forgive me if I left out anything that you felt important - and we'll see you next month. http://www.gigharborweb.com/
