Anyone interested in web design or development can attend: whether you're a website owner, a full or part-time designer or developer, or a student.

We're meeting at the Pierce County Library again since they have a large meeting room and free wireless access. Please RSVP if you plan to attend.

Agenda

We'll have a helping of our normal, free-form discussion, but we're also planning to have a few highlight discussions, including:


  • Fun ways to use CSS backgrounds
  • Styling Fonts with CSS
  • Using the CSS line-height property

      “ It was our Meetup's two-year birthday, so we had some munchies and water. Several new folks attended and there were great discussions. We talked a bit about using background images with CSS to spice up a layout. We also talked a little about image-replacement techniques. Also discussed usability and the effects of jargon in copywriting and site construction. ”
